Jane Chow is a Los Angeles-based writer-director from Hong Kong. She won the 2021 Deutsche Bank Frieze Los Angeles Audience Award for her film “Sorry for the Inconvenience”, which was created with the support of Endeavor Content and Ghetto Film School. The film was chosen by NBCUniversal and Target for the Scene in Color Film Series and is currently streaming on Peacock. The film has also been featured on Variety, NBC’s TODAY Show, Omeleto, and NoBudge.
Her previous work, including her award-winning international web series “Pineapple”, has screened at multiple film festivals including the Oscar-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival and Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival.
Since graduating from Loyola Marymount University's Film & TV Production program, Jane has also directed branded content for Tinder, TikTok, and the Biden-Harris campaign, as well as music videos for artists mxmtoon and Tiffany Day. Her work has been featured on Booooooom TV, shots, NME, Financial Times, Los Angeles Magazine, and more.
Currently, Jane is a video director at Synthesis and a mentee in Women In Film's Mentoring Program.
