Jane Chow is a Los Angeles-based writer, director, and editor from Hong Kong. Her most recent short film “Sorry for the Inconvenience” was chosen to screen on Peacock as part of NBCUniversal and Target's Scene in Color Film Series. The film was created through a fellowship with Fifth Season (Endeavor Content) and Ghetto Film School, and has been featured on Variety, NBC’s TODAY Show, Omeleto, and NoBudge.
Her previous narrative work, including her international web series “Pineapple”, has screened at Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival and the Oscar-qualifying Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival.
Since graduating from Loyola Marymount University's Film & TV Production program, Jane has directed and edited branded content for Tinder, TikTok, and Nature's Own, as well as music videos for breakout artists mxmtoon and Tiffany Day. Her work has been featured on Booooooom TV, shots, and NME. She has also edited in-house for AwesomenessTV (Paramount) and Synthesis, an education startup that grew out of SpaceX.
Currently, Jane is developing an original pilot script with NBCUniversal and Will Packer Productions. She's a member of Women in Film and an alumna of the WIF Mentoring Program.
